THE 25TH ANNUAL “MADE IN CLARKDALE ART SHOW 2011”
“THE MADE IN CLARKDALE ART SHOW 2011,” announces the celebration of its 25th Anniversary year of offering
professional handmade local artwork of 80 + artists of Clarkdale, Arizona.
The show begins Friday, December 2nd with The Gala Opening continuing for
ten days - through Sunday, December 11th, 2011.
Just think… a quarter of a century of Verde Valley community celebration of
art, and our kick off a year-long celebration of events in honor of the
2012
Clarkdale’s Centennial and that of the State of Arizona… this year will
surely be a special one no one will want to miss!
The ten-day art show is located in the historical Clark Memorial Clubhouse, 9th
& Main Streets, it is accessible to all and opens daily from 9 AM to 5 PM -
Saturday & Sundays from 10AM to 5PM. All of the events are free
and
open to the public. Made in Clarkdale Art Show is the
perfect venue for unique original handmade works of art.
Each year
Made in Clarkdale just gets better and better!
The public can expect to see professional fine art, large outdoor and small
sculptures, photography, jewelry and handmade treasures such as fiber-arts,
pottery, and other functional artistic items that are perfect for unique gift
giving or personal collections.
The famous
GALA OPENING EVENT will be held Friday, December 2nd from 6 -
9pm. This popular event has a community reputation for merry making and
provides partygoers with the opportunity to personally connect with the
artists, vote on their favorite pieces. The entire Verde Valley community
will be joining the artists for socializing, hospitality, refreshments and the
entertainment of the music performance of the Janice Paul Combo and the Blue
Dragon Belly Dancers.
There is art for everyone, in all price ranges, from exhibition fine arts to
affordable treasures. Act quickly if you see some art that interests you
