Fire Department Halloween Dance in Jerome Marks 34th Year
If it’s Halloween, you know it’s time to make plans to be in Jerome. The mile high town is home to the legendary Volunteer Fire Department Halloween Dance. The costumes at this event are labors of love, imaginative creations, and risqué, clever and pretty impressive. One year, Marie Antoinette arrived by horse drawn carriage wearing a 40-pound dress that required the assistance of her ladies in waiting to help her walk. Locals like Richard Johnson work all year to top the previous year’s outrageous concept. This year will be the 34th Annual Jerome Volunteer Fire Department Halloween Dance. The party will be on October 30th at Spook Hall at 260 Hull Avenue. Doors open at 8:00PM with Cadillac Angels performing from 9:00 to 1:00AM. Tickets are available at the door with no advance sales. The cost of this memorable night is $10 at the door with a full cash bar. ID is required. All proceeds go to the Jerome Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Check out the Fire Department website – www.jeromefd.org - to see the cool posters for the Dance. Posters can be purchased at The Jerome Fire Department or online at the Fire Department website.
