FALL CRAFT CLASSES AT THE ARBORETUM
Join us in a variety of fun and
informative craft classes this October!
FLAGSTAFF, Friday, September 23, 2011. The
Arboretum at Flagstaff offers fall craft classes on the weekends of October 8th
and 22nd. Classes feature two local instructors who will demonstrate a variety
of skills.
On Saturday, October 8, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. “Beauty from Your Kitchen” is
offered. Join owner of Fizz Bath and Body Shop, Kim Yuhl, in creating a sugar
scrub, body oil, and facial mask from kitchen ingredients. On Saturday, October
22, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Joyce Read, a local sculpture, acrylic painter, and
jewelry maker will be leading “Beginners Polymer Clay.” Participants will learn
to sculpt a figure from polymer clay.
Fall craft classes are $25 each for members and $30 each for non-members. Materials
are not included in class costs. Limited spaces available, and preregistration

The Arboretum at Flagstaff is a botanical garden, research center, and nature
preserve dedicated to educating the public about the plants and plant
communities of the Colorado Plateau. It is located four miles south of Route 66
on scenic Woody Mountain Road in West Flagstaff.
