E-Go Gallery in Clarkdale Premiere’s First Month Long Show on July 31st
Made in Clarkdale, one of the Verde Valley’s longest running art shows, has morphed into a gallery of its own. After a 2-day July 4th preview, the e-Go Gallery at 921 Main Street is ready for its first month-long show. Join Clarkdale’s best on July 31st from 7:00 to 10:00PM for a night of art, music and refreshments.
This first show will feature Clive and Virginia Pates, both Yavapai College teachers who have been welcomed into the Clarkdale fold. Clive’s large paintings bring the landscape of his surroundings to life and Virginia’s experimental ceramics are elegant and sophisticated. Mix in some Clarkdale old-timers like Tom Evans and Janice Paul who have been creating jewelry and ceramics for many years, Tom Schumacher, ceramic artist, wood sculptor Jeff Neugebuer, David Zuniga, metal and mixed media. Rounding out the show is cowboy artist Shag Armstrong and photographer Donna Chesler who will show a new Polaroid Transfer on Copper. The gallery will have a semi-permanent collection of jewelry from Barbara Pierce, Joe Williams, and prints and cards from Clarkdale favorite Judy Jaaskelainin.
Gallery e-Go is made possible by the generosity of The Clarkdale Chamber of Commerce, Clarkdale Metals and Alcora Marble. Join the community in welcoming this new addition to Clarkdale. This historic town boasts not only a lovely gazebo and park, but also some delicious restaurants. Make a night of it in Historic Clarkdale.
