March 09, 2011 - For Immediate Release: The Jerome Historical Society’s Copper Town Ball scheduled for March 19, 2011 has been postponed. The new date of the Ball will be September 3, 2011. All current ticket holders will automatically have reservations for the new date or may request a refund. There is limited seating of 200 for this event. 2ND ANNUAL JEROME COPPER TOWN BALL on March 19 Sep 03 2011 The Jerome Historical Society cordially invites you to its 2nd Annual Copper Town Ball. The theme for this year’s event is “A Spring Evening under the Stars.”
This black tie affair will be held on Saturday, March 19 Sep 03, in Jerome’s Spook Hall.
Guests will dance to Big Band Music, and enjoy legal “underground” gambling with $1,000.00 in fun money - which can also be used at the silent auction. The silent auction includes original artwork and other fabulous gifts.
There will be a grand prize drawing for a weekend package at the Ritz-Carlton in Phoenix.
The festivities began at 7:00 p.m. and last until 1:00 a.m.
Elegant snacks, a keepsake memento photo as well as $1,000.00 in “Fun Money” are all included in the ticket prices: $60.00 for singles and $120.00 for couples. The ticket covers everything but the cash bar.
In addition the Jerome Historical Society will award their 2010 Historic Preservation Grants and will recognize notable Jerome Citizens, both past and present.
