Welcome the 16th Annual Chocolate Lover's Walk on Saturday, December 5th, 2009, from 4-8pm in Old Town Cottonwood.
A special evening of Holiday lights and a bag full of homemade chocolates, presented by the Old Town Association of Cottonwood, will take place along Historic 89A.
What is not to love about this evening?
Old Town Main Street merchants stay open late, the shops are full of the scents of hot cocoa and mint, and the glow of Holiday cheer abounds. Stroll down the avenue as merchants compete for the best chocolate award. Even the chocolate collecting bags are hand-decorated with love. This year, enjoy your name written in glitter upon it.
As you indulge in dozens of homemade chocolates, listen to the carolers sing and watch as the Christmas lights come shining on:
5 pm Cottonwood Community Band 5:30 45-member Choir from Cottonwood Elementary School 6 pm Verde Valley Voices and the Christmas Tree lighting
Trolley transport is available to main parking areas, including stops along the Chocolate Walk. Parking can be found at the turnaround points on N Main St & N 7th St, and at N Main St & Old Clarkdale Highway.
