Introducing the Bootleggin’ Cruiz-In on Historic 89A in Old Town Cottonwood.
Events last from 4 to 9pm during quarterly dates starting March 28th.
Old Town Cottonwood and the Old Town Association are bringing Historic 89A’s 1920’s Heyday back to life in current day. Welcome the new, quarterly Bootleggin’ Cruiz-in of Historic 89A!
Live music with the Alan James Band kicks off the fun March 28th from 7-9pm.
We’re sure you’ll have a grand ol’ time during our Cruiz-In featuring classic cars, shopping, dining, and dancing - all in a 1920’s atmosphere.
Starting at 4 pm, take a stroll along Main Street as we recreate the good ol’ days with a classic car cruise. These fine vehicles will be lining the streets so that folks can cruise the cars, as well as the shops, from 4-8pm. Merchants stay open late, making our old Arizona-town a bit more magical under the shop lights. Dance lessons are a suggested donation of only $15, little money for lots of fun while you learn the Fox!]
Trot, Charleston and Swing… like it’s 1927? Then practice until you are a pro: the band and open air dancing from 7-9pm and car cruise from 4-8pm are free. Don’t be shy, come in your flappers and your zoot suits and join us for a family-oriented evening of fun. After the activities, enjoy a top-quality meal at one of our incredible Historic 89A eateries: Conchos, F-Stop, Crema, Green Garden, Hog Wild, Nic’s, Thai Palace, or Tavern Grille, and have a drink at Ye Ole’ Watering Hole of Kactus Kate’s. We are a hootin’ and a hollorin’ to see you here being a part of our rich Cottonwood history! Come help us live like the heyday never ended.
This is a quarterly Bootleggin’ Cruiz-In. Event dates are the following Saturdays: March 28th, June 27th, Sept 26th and Dec 5th from 4-9pm. The Dec 5th Cruiz-In will coincide with the annual Old Town Cottonwood Chocolate Walk, right here on Historic 89A.
