There are also restaurants that have put Cottonwood on the map in foodie circles, such as  award-winning Nic’s Italian Steak and Crab House in Old Town Cottonwood that has become a special-occasion restaurant for locals and visitors and tops many “best of” lists for its menu and intimate atmosphere.  And there’s Pinion Bistro, a seven-table, three-season restaurant where patrons can savor such house favorites as Dungeness Crab Cakes with Creole Mustard Sauce and Filet Mignon with Roquefort Butter.

Especially popular with families is the chuck-wagon dinner and Frontier West show at the Blazin’ M Ranch, a must-see attraction. “If you like country music, slapstick comedy, and lots of good food, this is a total experience,” said one satisfied customer.

Whether it’s Italian, Chinese, Thai, Mexican, Greek, Japanese, Middle Eastern or American food, you can enjoy it in Cottonwood. Other selections run the gamut from pizza and a chipotle turkey and bacon sandwich to blackened ahi tuna and a prime rib dinner. For a nostalgic supper, diners can choose dishes that grandmother used to make, such as grilled beef liver with onions or chicken fried steak. Vegetarians can also find many options among regular offerings and daily specials.

For that sweet tooth, there is a tempting selection of heavenly desserts:
